Tips For Moving Across Country
Tips For Moving Across Country – For it takes homework. But you must take a deep breath and sit when you think about it, because it can be overwhelming. Part of making your move a success will come down to getting it right, so here are some handy tips to get your things ready to go, take great care, and be mindful of what you have.
1. Create a supply list – you never know what will drop down the road. Go through your house and make a list of all the things you own, especially things with significant monetary or emotional value.

2. Think about your new home – If you have already set up a new place, think about what will fit in the space. You don’t want to carry your three huge books, for example, if you know there won’t be room.

3. Purge Unwanted Recipe – The less stuff you have, the less you’ll have to move around town. Be completely honest with yourself about what you want to keep and what you can live without.
4. Prioritize what to take with you – not only do you need to pack at home before a long trip, but also pack like you’re going on a trip. Make sure you have bowls, frequently used electronics, enough clothes, toiletries and things you use regularly.
5. Pack your boxes safely – double in the bubble wrap, paper and packaging to make sure your items arrive at your new home safe and in one piece.
6. Organize as you pack – clothes will be much easier if things are not randomly thrown into boxes. Try to pack your things by room, area or category.

7. Label everything – so that no box is left open – add your name and what is in each box. I recently shared how we are entering a new chapter in our lives, and that new chapter includes us all the way to Wisconsin. It was a long journey and since we were driving a moving truck we decided to take things slow and get ourselves around town in 4 days.
I don’t know about you, but our kids don’t get along well. A cat and a dog in a small cage haha! Just kidding…just a little, but really, our kids fight every time we’re in the car for a long time. No one can agree on a movie, music, or what we’re talking about. Someone is always looking at someone else, and if you’re a mom, you know how scary it is when your kids look at each other *insert biggest eye roll ever*. So here’s a report on some of my tips on how to get the most out of moving around the country.
This is most important – for your health! Believe me!! I know this sounds a bit counterproductive to doing the whole distance and putting the mile behind it. But sometimes it’s just time to throw it out the window and make the best of the site. When you’re moving across the country, it’s really fun not having a destination. You are beautiful, just counting the seconds until you pull into the hotel car park and run your kids straight along the edge of the lake and splash around while you sit quietly on the side praying that it tires them out for the night! The stratum is nowhere near the vacation route, so the supply system stops. If you see something beautiful, pull it out and take a peek!
If you’re hungry, stop by the grocery store and grab some snacks! Did you know that the top 3 reasons people stop are: to use the bathroom, get gas, and buy food or drink. We have enough of at least one of these every 30 minutes haha, why don’t we stop at a place where you can take care of all 3 at the same time! Your kids are sure to enjoy getting out of the car to make bathroom breaks a little more fun! My kids love to run inside and pick out candy for their songs! How To Move To Another Country
Even if you don’t have kids, after a day of sitting in the star position at the end of the black floor, everyone will enjoy dipping their toes in the pool! Hotels are your last destination every day, which is pretty much everything to look forward to, except not feeling guilty about that Oatmeal Cream Pie you picked up at the grocery store. ; ) But make sure you enjoy your nights while touring the country, you earn %!
With all the force of the arguments to stop and “we are still needed” I tried to load the car full of distractions. We don’t have car diamonds so we bought these dual screen car DVD players. And since I’m not a big fan of electronics, I let the kids pack bags full of toys, coloring books, crayons, and basically anything they can do in the car. These kids benches are the perfect way for kids to paint, build legos or roll around cars. The benches are also great for eating on i! But
Just remember that no matter how much fun you’re having, it’s super important to stay hydrated while you’re going. A lot of new people think they don’t drink much because they don’t want to stop using the bathroom, this is scary for you! Whenever you stop at the grocery store, make sure to grab some water to stay hydrated!
Overall, this move back to Wisconsin is super exciting! Appleton is full of old houses that are just crying out to be restored and I can’t wait to get started on our house! You can read more about it here.
